Our Story
Fame Dance Academy was founded by our Instructor and owner Porscha Colvin. Porscha began dancing at the age of 5. Her background includes Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Liturgical dance. Dance Has always been a passion. She stopped the journey of dance in 2011 and after 3 beautiful daughters and a wake up call to herself, She got back to dance. Porscha started teaching again in 2018 and it was the best decision of her life. Though she struggled and things were never perfect, She currently has her very first dance studio. Following her dreams has been so hard but she doesn't plan on letting up on giving up. She truly believes Fame Dance Academy will be a well known Dance Company.
